The Axis X Series are essentially the same as Axis A's, the biggest difference is that they don't have the Variable Drive Lever which changes the ratio of the footboard movement to the arc of the beater to obtain the feel of any type of pedal with one simple adjustment. "For the player who doesn't want to be concerned with anything more than perfect performance." The Axis X series come with standard beaters not sonic hammers.

Some Features:

• Made from Aircraft grade aluminium and steel so the lightest / fastest components.
• There is no chain on this pedal, instead there is a metal with ballbearing linkage which means there is no energy consumed by a chain folding and jumping.
  
• The foot plates are the longest you can get, perfect for heel toe players.
  
• New and improved drive shaft linkage specifically designed to maintain the ball bearing action
  
• Universal joints mean a Zero Backlash design which transfers the power directly from the slave side to the primary side with maximum transfer torque, rebound and sensitivity
  
• Beater forward design means the beater is infront of the cam which means a substancial increase in power without feeling heavier resulting in an increase in both speed and punch.
  
• Self Centering spring assembly allows for easy pedal adjustments
  
• Double pedal can be converted into 2 single pedals within a few minutes and no extra parts.
